Dear Primary School Families,

As we transition from the spirit of Thanksgiving into the enchantment of the holiday season, we find ourselves reflecting on the immense gratitude we hold for each of you and the beautiful community you create. December brings a medley of exciting events and moments that bind us closer together.

We invite you to take part in Filling a Bag with food to share with our sister school, Lincoln Elementary, a Title 1 school in our community.  Bags and instructions will go home with your student.

On Tuesday, December 12 at 8:50 am, join us for Campus Conversations, a fantastic opportunity to engage with our community, delve deeper into school events, and contribute while earning volunteer hours. It’s a chance to connect and enrich our shared experience.

Prepare to attend our beloved Love and Light Festival—a cherished tradition that resonates with the spirit of the season. This event, on Thursday, December 14, from 5:30-7:00 pm, illuminates the diverse winter traditions worldwide, celebrating the symbolism of light that unites us all. See the flier for more information.

Parents currently have the opportunity to visit classrooms or “peek in” on their child’s school day. We hope that you observe the value of your child’s experience as a student at Elizabeth Academy and anticipate continuing their enrollment next year. Watch for Continuing Enrollment packets arriving on December 14th. Reach out to Katy or Jessica to schedule a meeting if you have queries, seek information about our programs, or simply wish to touch base.

Friday, December 15, our classrooms will brim with festive cheer as we celebrate the holiday season. Stay tuned for more details from teachers and room parents about these joyous classroom gatherings.

As we approach the holidays, please note that the school will be in recess from December 18th through January 1st. School will resume Tuesday, January 2nd. We extend warm wishes to you and your family for a joyous and rejuvenating holiday season.

May this December be filled with moments of connection, light, and joy. We are honored to be part of this wonderful community and eagerly anticipate celebrating this season with you.

Warm Regards,

Jessica Rawlings and Katy Hastings
