Dear Parents,

As we finish the first trimester of our school year, we want to take a moment to acknowledge the wonderful progress of our students. From the increased independence and confidence of our infants and toddlers to the leadership and exploration of the upper elementary students, the school days are filled with focus, fun, friends and meaningful work. We are thankful for the part you play in your student’s growth and invite you to take part in the upcoming community activities as we move through the holiday season.

Join our parent community at our November Campus Conversations on Tuesday, November 14th right after morning car line, to meet other parents and learn about volunteer opportunities at our campus. The holiday season brings a host of wonderful events and activities to our school and we invite your participation. We are excited to share the following upcoming events:

We are pleased to inform you that the end-of-term report cards for our students will be sent home (electronically) on November 17th. These reports serve as a valuable window into your child's progress and overall development in the classroom. We encourage you to take the time to review them carefully, as they provide valuable insights into your child's achievements and areas for growth. If you have any questions or concerns about the report card, or if, for any reason, you do not receive one, please don't hesitate to reach out to our dedicated teaching team. We are here to support you and ensure that you have a clear understanding of your child's educational journey.

Tuesday, November 21st is our annual Gratitude and Grand Friends event. Students may invite grandparents or grand friends (or parents)  to a celebration of gratitude, family, and community. Children may be checked out from their classrooms following their session, allowing you to make the most of this special day.

November 22-24th is Thanksgiving Break, a time for rest, relaxation, and quality time with family. We hope you enjoy the holiday festivities with your loved ones.

Mark your calendars for Thursday, November 30th, as we invite you to join us for our third parent education night. This month, we have a special treat in store for you. Please be our guests as we embark on a 'journey' through the Montessori curriculum, spanning from infants through secondary levels.  Jessica and Katy, along with a team of dedicated staff members, will be your guides on this unique and enriching adventure. We believe that this event will provide you with a deeper understanding of our educational approach and philosophy. We sincerely hope that you can join us for what promises to be an insightful and educational evening.

We are excited to announce that we are revving up for our upcoming re-accreditation process. At the heart of this journey lies a profound commitment to excellence and a relentless pursuit of improvement. We understand that you, our EA families, are our greatest stakeholders. Your feedback is not only valuable but truly essential to our mission. Your insights, suggestions, and thoughts are gifts that propel us forward on this path of growth and enhancement. We wholeheartedly welcome your feedback, knowing that it is an invaluable compass guiding us towards continued success and an even brighter future for our students. You will be receiving feedback forms throughout this school year and we encourage you to take part in sharing your thoughts and experiences with us.

We look forward to celebrating the achievements of our students and sharing these special moments with you during the upcoming holiday season. Thank you for your continued support and partnership in your child's education.

Warm regards,

Jessica Rawlings and Katy Hastings
